What is funny? Why do we find things funny? We have no idea. Comedy is not a science, it's an art. Therefore there are no rules and it can be very subjective. What one person finds funny another might cringe at. There is no simple answer to why something is funny... Something is funny because it captures a moment, it contains an element of simple truth, it is something that we have always known for eternity and yet are hearing it now out loud for the first time. Comedy is full of opposites and contradictions, the familiar and unfamiliar, irony, sarcasm, spoofs and timing. It’s everything and nothing. To save you from trying to figure out what funny is, and why, we give you a mixture of all the tees that made us giggle, cackle, snort and snicker, and hope that it brings a couple of laughs your way.
